Included Services 

Stone Re-Setting and Lost Stone Replacement, Re-Sizing, Re-Shaping, Buffing and Polishing, Cleaning

Stone Re-setting and Replacement

We will reset any diamonds that come loose from your piece. We will even replace lost diamonds absolutely free of charge. *1, *2

Repairs will take 2 - 4 weeks


Re-shaping We repair pieces that have become misshapen, warped, or dented. Design will affect re-shaping, so our staff will work with you to determine the best course of action based on your piece's kind and degree of damage. *3

Repairs will take 2 - 4 weeks


Re-sizing We resize rings and bracelets as needed. Depending on the piece, resizing may affect the shape and/or design. Our staff will go through all of these details with you before makinga ny changes to your piece.

Buffing and Polishing

Buffing and Polishing Pieces may begin to show signs of wear, such as small scratches. Bring back that flawless, lustrous shine with a professional buff and polish.

Maintenance will take 2 - 4 weeks


We can remove dirt from even the toughest of places, such as in small crevices or on the inside of your piece, using ultrasonic cleaners.

Service fees apply if..
*1: If 5 or more stones need to be replaced at once.
*2: If the center stone on an engagement ring requires replacing.
*3: We may be unable to re-shape pieces depending on the kind and degree of damage.

How to access our
Lifetime Guarantee

1. Initial Service Request

Please submit a Lifetime Guarantee Service Request after filling out all of the below information.
- Name
- Address
- Customer ID (email address linked to account)
- Requested Service (can choose multiple)

2. Confirmation Email

You will receive a confirmation email from us confirming the details of your service request.

3. Jewelry Shipment

Please carefully package your jewelry wrapped in cushion or enclosed in a jewelry case and send it to us via FedEx or DHL, requesting the cash-on-delivery option for payment. Please be sure to have the package registered, so the package is insured and trackable. 

*Customers are responsible for shipping fees for pieces requiring maintenance and repairs.
*Packages sent via regular post are not tracked, and therefore may become lost.
*Please send packages within 2 weeks over receiving a confirmation email from us. Please be sure to hold onto your tracking information in case shipping is delayed so we can confrim the status and location of your package.

4. Checking the sent items

After careful examination we will send another confirmation email, and then promptly begin servicing your piece.
*Please confirm expected duration of service in the descriptions listed above.

If service fees are required for your piece, we will send you an estimate along with an explanation for the cost. We will begin working on your piece immediately after the quote is accepted and payment is confirmed. 

If we are unable to service your piece, we will contact you and let you know the reason.

5.Sending Jewelry Back to Customer

Upon completing service, we will send jewelry back to the customer using the postal service of your choosing.

Items not covered by the lifetime guarantee service

Jewelry that has been repaired, serviced, or altered by another company in any way is no longer eligible for our Lifetime Guarantee.


We may be unable to service pieces that have been extremely damaged (for pieces damaged in transit, please see FAQ for more details).
Additionally, depending on the severity of damage, we may not be able to restore your piece completely to its original shape and design. Please note that HELICAL CHORD is not liable for natural signs of wear over time. If your piece is accidentally damaged beyond natural signs of wear or lost by the company during maintenance or repair, we will replace your piece with the same piece if possible, or one comparable.
